چکیده
Abstract Background Restoration with locking-taper implants is a widely used methodology. However, conical connection systems such as implant have rarely been examined. This study provides retrospective investigation of fixed restorations, mainly focusing on prosthetic complications. Methods Patients undergo treatment connected from 2008 to 2010 were Preparation the sites was performed according standard procedures for Bicon system. Bone healing took over 6 months, and procedure initiated thereafter. Integrated abutment crowns or gold porcelain used, prosthesis type single crown dental prosthesis. Once in place, its occlusion thoroughly checked adjusted, then glazed finely polished. The Kaplan–Meier method calculate cumulative complication-free rates 5 10 years. Additionally, Cox regression model identify factors that independently influenced results. Implant survival marginal bone loss also investigated. Results A total 392 patients who underwent 541 434 locking taper implant-based restorations overall 5-year rate 83.34%. most common complication veneer chipping, frequency 67.53%. Survival Rate of Short, Locking Taper Implants with a Plateau Design: A 5-Year Retrospective Study
BACKGROUND Short implants have become popular in the reconstruction of jaws, especially in cases with limited bone height. Shorter implants, those with locking tapers and plateau root shapes, tend to have longer survival times. We retrospectively investigated the cumulative survival rates of Bicon short implants (<8 mm) according to patient variables over a 5-year period. MATERIALS AND METHOD...

Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate functional outcome and complications with a long term followup (minimum of 2 years post-operative) in patients with mid-shaft clavicle fractures treated with precontoured lockingplates. Methods: We included 41 patients. Goniometric measurement of shoulder range of motion (ROM) was performed,as well as functional evaluation using the rating scale ...
متن کامل26-year follow-up of screw-retained fixed dental prostheses supported by machined-surface Brånemark implants: a case report.
BACKGROUND Rough-surface implants have become very popular during the last 10 years due to greater reported bone-implant-contact and bone volume between implant threads compared to machined-surface implants. PURPOSE The aim of this clinical report is to present the 26-year clinical outcomes of machined-surface implants supporting screw-retained fixed dental prostheses in a 77-year-old woman. ...

BACKGROUND To evaluate soft tissue conditions and bone loss around palatal positioned implants supporting fixed full-arch prostheses to rehabilitate edentulous maxillae with horizontal atrophy and compare them with conventional well-centered implants placed in non-atrophic maxillae after a minimum follow-up of 5 years. MATERIAL AND METHODS A clinical retrospective study was performed of patie...
